The peer review of Taiba Tishe’s exploratory essay has helped me a lot in my writing growth because it has honed my writing and communication skills because her portfolio conveys complex ideas clearly which has contributed to my ability to articulate my thoughts effectively. In her portfolio, her act of researching and writing about a specific topic deepened my understanding of the subject she was talking about which has inspired me to do the same thing for my writing. This means that I have recognized the importance of a clear and concise thesis statement from the exploratory essay she had in her portfolio. The specific writing goal I have learned is to craft an effective thesis statement that clearly presents the main idea of my work. Because the thesis of her exploratory essay is specific, arguable, and provides a roadmap for the reader to understand the essay’s focus.
